coffee shop photo study

In 2017 I asked a local coffee shop if I could take a few photos of their store. There was some interesting unified color scheming going on, between the reds and blues on an overall brown scape (the tone of coffee, shocker). A little color correction brought it out nicely in these photos.

They played vinyl records near the leather chairs and coffee tables, trying to be hip I guess. Later on much space was converted from lounging to store floor, sadly. Too few customers staying for the table service, perhaps.

It's clear that they'd paid special attention to the look and lighting in the store, as I suppose coffee shops must these days; for the competition in the most coffee-drinking country in the world is fierce, and each establishment needs a unique flavor to stand out among many.

Never did get around to trading the photos in for a free cup of java.
